My son can finally buckle these himself thanks to the two secure straps, and the flexible sole lets him run without tripping. They’ve held up great through mud puddles and playground slides.

Bought these for my 6-year-old who destroys shoes in weeks, and the two straps actually stay put through recess and soccer practice. The grippy sole handles wet playground equipment better than his old pair ever did.

The double straps hold tight even when my son is sprinting around the playground, which was my main worry with velcro. The mesh keeps his feet from getting sweaty during long school days, and the sole bends easily without feeling flimsy.
