My 14-month-old actually walks steadier in these than in her stiff sneakers, and the flexible sole lets her feel the ground like she's barefoot. The pink is a lovely soft shade too, not neon like I worried.

The velcro strap makes it so easy to get on my toddler's chubby feet, and she doesn't try to yank them off like her other shoes. I can tell the thin sole lets her actually feel the ground when she's cruising around the living room.
