My 3-year-old figured out the velcro closure on these in about two days, and now he insists on putting them on himself before daycare. The soles flex nicely when he runs, and the graffiti print has survived mud puddles and a full wash cycle without fading.

The velcro strap is a lifesaver since my son can put them on himself without me wrestling with laces every morning. He's been wearing them nonstop for two weeks and the soles still look new. Cute enough that I bought a second pair.
